Directions to Mustard Seed School

From New York City via public transportation:

PATH
Take the PATH train to Hoboken.  When you emerge from the train, you will be on the corner of River Street and Hudson Place. Walk north on River St. The Hudson River should be on your right, the Path Station should be behind you. Turn left on 4th St. and continue to Garden Street. (You will have crossed Hudson St., Washington St. and Bloomfield St.) Walk catty-corner through the park to the corner of 5th and Willow Street. The entrance to the school is on 5th St.

NJ Transit Bus
Take NJ Transit Bus #126 from Port Authority gate #204. The bus will enter Hoboken’s north end and travels south on Washington St. Get off at 4th Street and walk west (if you are facing the direction of the bus, turn right) to the corner of 4th and Garden. Walk catty-corner through the park to the corner of 5th and Willow Street. The entrance to the school is on 5th St.

From NYC via the Lincoln Tunnel
As you emerge from the Lincoln Tunnel , stay to the right and take the 1st exit, the Hoboken exit. Go straight. You are on Willow Avenue. Continue on Willow, proceed to 5th Street, and look for parking.

From NYC via the Holland Tunnel
Exit the Holland Tunnel. Turn right at the first stop light (Luiz Munoz Marin Blvd). You will go past a plaza with the A&P and under a train trestle.  Continue straight until you come to a “T” intersection. Turn right onto Observer Highway (also known as Vezzetti Way). Turn left onto Washington Street. Turn left onto 4th Street. Continue to Willow Avenue and look for parking.

From Route 495 (north end of Hoboken)
Take the last exit in New Jersey, the “Hoboken” exit. Stay to your right and continue straight through the first traffic light (Pleasant Ave). Take a right onto Park Ave at the next intersection. The Lincoln Tunnel will be on your right.  Continue straight past the tunnel traffic into Hoboken. You will come to a stop light at 14th Street. Turn right onto 14th Street and then take an immediate left onto Willow Avenue. Continue to 5th Street and look for parking.

From NJ Turnpike (south end of Hoboken) 
Take exit 14C (the Holland Tunnel exit).  After paying the toll, get into the left hand lane. Turn left at the light onto Jersey Ave. After the third light (18th street), the road you on are turns sharply to the right. You are now on Observer Highway (also known as Vezzetti Way). Continue on to Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street.  Turn left onto 4th Street.  Continue to Willow Avenue and look for parking.

Parking in Hoboken
Parking in Hoboken can be extremely difficult. Pay attention to the parking signs. In addition to obeying street cleaning rules, be mindful of signs that are filled in with green and say “Parking for Residents Only.” Only Hoboken residents and permit-holders may park on that side. Hoboken aggressively tickets parking violators. Behind the school on Clinton Street between 3rd and 4th Streets, there is some metered parking. If you are unable to find street parking, there is a parking garage on 4th and Clinton.
