As Shubhi prepares to attend Trinity School in the fall, she’s eager to try new sports. Be challenged academically. And make new friends. She hopes to adjust well to the new school environment and also keep in touch with her old friends.
Math and Language Arts come naturally to Shubhi: they’re her favorite subjects. She always looks forward to those classes, no matter how much homework her teachers give her.
Shubhi plans to become a Neuroscientist. She wants to learn how the brain works and help people who struggle with mental illness.
When Shubhi joined MSS in third grade, she was very quiet. She remembers the day that one of her classmates ask her for help with homework. Soon they were friends.
Many people have helped Shubhi over her time at MSS. She wants to give special thanks to Señora Oro-Han, her Spanish teacher. Señora has always encouraged her in Spanish class. And been an adult that she could trust over the years. Shubhi also wants to thank her friends. They’ve supported her throughout her educational journey and been a part of many cherished memories.
As Shubhi leaves Mustard Seed School, she will miss the community and everyone in it. She’ll remember all that Mustard Seed School has done for her. Honor the lessons that she’s learned since her first day.
MSS students learn to see themselves as part of a global community and act as compassionate advocates who learn from and serve with others in solidarity.
