Thrilled to be through the rigorous high school application process, Bronwyn has decided to attend Notre Dame. She looks forward to studying French. Soccer. Drama Club. Glee Club. And, of course, meeting new people.
At Mustard Seed, Bronwyn has learned to be herself. To not worry about what other people think about her. Collaborate and work well with others. The many service projects at MSS–from collecting baby food to bringing clothes to the homeless shelter– have inspired Bronwyn. She now volunteers at a local food pantry outside of school.
Bronwyn is going to miss Chorus. Worship team. Worship. And every single one of her classes. She’s found them to be fun and interesting. Each and every teacher deserves a huge thank you, according to Bronwyn, because she’s learned so much. She’d especially like to thank Ms. McCallihan for infusing fun into the school day and helping Bronwyn learn math. Ms. Buys for her help and relatability. Mr. Licato for his advice and helping Bronwyn grow as an athlete. Sra. Oro-Hahn for teaching Spanish and guitar. And she will always remember Ms. Kuperus, her third grade teacher. One time Bronwyn was feeling worried about how she would perform in school when she was older and confided in Ms. Kuperus. Ms. Kuperus told her that she could call any time and she would help. This made Bronwyn feel comforted and loved.
As for future goals, Bronwyn hopes to be a soccer player. A musician. Film director. Or actress. But no matter what she does, she hopes that she pursues her dreams in a way that helps others.
