Every Bear is Unique

September 30, 2020 | Sossi Essajanian

Now that each bear has a name tag, it was easier for the children to tell them apart but bears are more than just a name. Children express and explore thoughts and feelings through play and now through their bears. What else did the children know about their bear? They discussed all the bear’s favorite things. What foods did they like? What was their favorite color? How old is bear?

Once they knew the bears a bit better, the children thought about how the bear might look based on their likes. So they drew pictures of their bear wearing it’s favorite outfit, eating it’s favorite meal, or maybe playing with it’s favorite toy!
