It has been wonderful to honor each child these final weeks of school. The teachers have also been thinking about the class as a whole.
So here are some final honoring words…
There are so many things you’ve created this year: books, bear houses, games, songs, block structures, paintings, drawings, drama stories, dance parties, and when we were hungry, mud soups and grass salads! Sometimes you were inspired by books you heard, sometimes you were inspired by what your friends started, sometimes you were inspired outside by nature, and even when you heard the Senorita Mariposa song at snack time.
When you create, you joyfully add more and more details and ideas. Once an idea starts, you all join in together to make it grow. Everyone added something to make it more beautiful and then you get together to share it. Remember when someone started to write friendly notes and cards? You all went around to find the name of a friend and drew a picture for them. There were so many different and beautiful cards! You know how to make people smile and be happy with your gift of creativity.
With love from your teachers,
Ms. Essajanian and Mrs. Chester
