Writing in Runes

We’ve learned many interesting things about Vikings and their lives! We studied their ships, their weapons, and we have also learned how they write and practiced it ourselves.
Henry and Pietro practiced writing the names of the people in their families!
We have also had Viking runes in our morning messages. When we come into the classroom, we have to solve who is first.
Can you figure out who is first today in the Moon Class? Hint: the single line is an “i” and the backwards Y can be a “c” or a “k”.
